DC Live! SteamWorld Dig 2, Part 1 Livestream
After streaming SteamWorld Dig a little under a year ago, I have some business with SteamWorld Dig 2. I did buy both games together, so there’s no way I’d pass up on streaming the sequel. This game takes place shortly after the events of SteamWorld Dig, where Dorothy makes good on her promise to find Rusty. We the audience knows that Rusty never returned to Tumbleton after defeating the Voltbot at the bottom of the mines. Hopefully through Dorothy’s eyes we can discover what ultimately happened to Rusty.
Like the original game, SteamWorld Dig 2 features a loop of digging, collecting resources, returning to town, and upgrading. This will be in service of finding new areas to explore and new enemies to fight. I do wonder if this game will feature more than a single boss. Considering how relaxing it was to just dig with Rusty, I wouldn’t mind if Dorothy had a similar trajectory.
