DC Live! Thousand Arms, part 10

It’s time to get back to business. We’re close to the end of the game, and we still have a LOT of skills to learn. Even breaking it down to the six most important, I am a combined 34 intimacy level-ups to get there. Suffice it to say, we going to start this session on a shopping trip in the hopes we can pick up enough gifts to do a hefty chunk of this work for us.

Thousand Arms is an RPG in which your hero is a young blacksmith of destiny tasked with saving the world by killing the emperor. Videogames.com called it “One of the most unique and promising RPG[s] this year [1999],” which was the only praise that made it onto the packaging. I’m assuming Videogames.com was not up on Final Fantasy VIII. Or Star Ocean: The Second Story. Or Suikoden II. Or Jade Cocoon. That being said, I suppose of all these RPGs there aren’t really any two that belong together.
