DC Live! SMT: Devil Summoner 2: Raidou Kuzunoha vs. King Abaddon, Part 17 Livestream

The crap really hit the fan in Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Summoner 2: Raidou Kuzunoha vs. King Abaddon last week. I spent the first half of the stream completing side quests. The second half was dedicated to moving the story forward and fighting Apollyon. Defeating this oversized demonic locust was only the start of things going further south for the people of the Capital. Worse yet, Dahn completed his plans, but the outcome was not what he was expecting. I stopped myself from laughing at Dahn’s surprise long enough to appreciate the gravity of the situation in this version of 1920s Japan. Although I’m not completely sure the characters in-game fully appreciate the situation they’re in. But hey, I suppose you can’t face the coming bug apocalypse without a fresh cup of Joe, and someone to sell you coffee beans as the world comes to end. Capitalism has to grind on, right?

I’ve found myself Law aligned in this game and ready to accept whatever that outcome entails. I have not decided if I want to rush to a point of no return and then finish up what side quests I can, or if I want to tackle side quests as soon as I’m able. We’ll play it by mood, I guess.
