DC Live! Pyre Livestream, Part 6
For all of my bluster, I got my butt thoroughly whipped when I last streamed Pyre two weeks ago. After winning two regular Rites after the first Liberation Rite, I lost every single match after that. Turns out you actually don’t need to win a single Rite to make progress in Pyre. I also thought I was close to the end of the game because I was nearing the ten hour mark. I was wrong because reading every line of dialogue out loud tends to add a few hours to the game. At this point, we still have about four Liberation Rites to go and probably another half dozen regular Rites. So we will continue to play more fiery basketball.
The difficulty spike has been real in this game. If I win another Rite during the stream I’ll consider that a victory.
