DC Live! Final Fantasy VI Livestream, Part 5
My last round of Final Fantasy VI was productive. I recruited Gau and taught him the Stray Cat and Marshal skills while on the Veldt. After that, I beat back Kefka’s attempts to steal the Esper in Narshe with a full roster of characters. Terra then left the party for reasons, and at the Twitch chat’s suggestion I took Edgar, Sabin, and Locke on an adventure. There we unlocked some important cutscenes that revealed quite a bit of back story for a number of characters, including Shadow.
This week I hope we make it to Zozo to possibly find Terra (remember, this is a mostly blind playthrough for me) and recruit more party members. For some reason Drew told me to remember the name “Thalma.” Hopefully I don’t forget.
On a quick side note: Thank you to everyone who participated in last night’s 5000th post celebration stream! We had a full house with the entire Damage Control staff and honorary member Chris showing up to chat on webcam. Drew kicked things off at 2PM ET with Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego? and Press Your Luck 2010 Edition before we transitioned into the staff chat and a five hour long game of Fortune Street. All and all, the celebration stream ran for 10 hours. We also made it to 70% of our community goal on Twitch to play another co-op game with the entire staff.
