DC Live! Monster Hunter Movie Crossover Event & Hades Part 7
Against my better judgement, I’ll be livestreaming two games tonight. The first will be the Monster Hunter World: Iceborne/Monster Hunter movie crossover event at 6PM. It features two quests starring a playable version of Artemis (Milla Jovovich). In the first quest she must hunt a Black Diablos in the Wildspire Waste. The second quest is against a Greater Rathalos in the Ancient Forest. Both of these quests are single player events, much like the Witcher 3 event from 2019. Completing these special events grants players Artemis’s armor from the movie, special layered armor, and Great Rathalos armor. We’ll see how I fair in these quests, as I don’t do very many solo hunts in MHW.
On a quick side note, the Monster Hunter movie saw some serious controversy in China because of a racist pun that should have never been made. The issue is worth more than a side note on a streaming announcement so I implore you to check out the linked article.
At 8PM ET, I’ll switch over to Hades to make sure I don’t miss a week of streaming. Last week I came extremely close to striking down both Theseus and the Minotaur. I foolishly decided to take on the mid boss of Elysium with incredibly low health. As a result I won the fight, but lost one of my three chances to defy death. I’ve been stuck on the third level of the Underworld for a while and a change of scenery would be nice. Perhaps tonight will be that night.
