DC Live! Detroit: Become Human Livestream, Part 2
Last week I struggled with the controls of Detroit: Become Human because I can be dense at times. That said, we had a blast as I worked my way through a variety of mundane chores and more exciting detective work. The story is picking up as both Markus and Kara have broken their programming and are working their way toward freedom.
The events in Detroit have some timeless qualities as the game is an allegory for civil rights and human rights. Now with protests against police violence ongoing in the cities across the United States and worldwide, the events in this game are extremely timely. If you’re looking for a reprieve from the news and social media tonight, I can’t guarantee this game will be it for you. At the very least, you can have fun as we make decisions and I struggle with the controls.
